EVS BJ22 Ballistic Jerseys are constructed of a special closed cell foam which can absorb massive impacts. They are lined with an indestructible ballistic fabric which provides the abrasion resistance only military spec products are known for. To go one step beyond, the impact panels are covered with a .06" thick molded plastic shell. All Panels are fully slotted to proved you with maximum cooling air flow. The BJ2 Jersey is extremely comfortable and will not restrict the rider's range of motion. Due to its slim design, it can be worn either by itself, under or over a regular jersey. Features completely integrated upper body protection that eliminates the need for an old-fashioned chest protector. Comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty against defects.

Customer Comment: I use the EVS BJ22 Balistic Jersey and it gives great protection. If I'm doing a "serious" ride (.ie racing, or off-road exploring), I wear it. Under a vented jersey, it's not that hot and if you wear a sleevless "athletic" T-shirt (something that wicks sweat) underneath, it's even more comfortable. I've had 1 pretty serious crash where I whiskey-throttled off a table-top/drop-off and smashed into a solid dirt wall on the opposite side, and came away unscathed (finshed the 2-hr H.S., even).
The BIG advantage of the protection on the EVS is that it doesn't shift around. I've had normal elbow guards rotate, chest protectors snag on a feet-first crash, and so on and that doesn't happen with the EVS.
